Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Luna app and website ("Luna", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Launch Match Limited (registered in England & Wales, company number 17130112), 10 Marvell Court, London W3 8FX. Website: https://www.lunaapp.co.uk. Contact: info@lunaapp.co.uk.

By creating an account or using Luna, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Luna.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use Luna. By using it, you confirm that you are.

3. What Luna is — and important health notice

Luna is a wellness and educational app offering cycle-syncing nutrition guidance, astrology-inspired daily readings, cycle and moon tracking, and AI-generated meal plans and insights.

Luna is not a medical service. It is not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, a substitute for professional medical advice, or a method of contraception or fertility planning. Its cycle predictions are estimates and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on Luna to prevent or achieve pregnancy, to diagnose or treat any condition, or in any medical emergency.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, symptoms, diet, or any medical concern — especially if you have a medical condition, allergy, or dietary restriction, are pregnant or trying to conceive, or before making changes based on Luna's guidance. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.

4. AI-generated content

Your daily readings, meal plans, recipes, and insights are generated by artificial intelligence. They are for general wellness and entertainment purposes, may contain errors or inaccuracies, and are not professional nutritional, medical, or psychological advice. Please use your own judgement — and check ingredients against any allergies or dietary needs before cooking or eating.

5. Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login details secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at info@lunaapp.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised use.

6. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Luna offers a free tier and an optional Luna Premium subscription.

  • Plans: Premium is offered as a monthly plan (£6.99) and an annual plan (£44.99), which may include a 7-day free trial. Current prices are shown in the app before you purchase.
  • Billing: Subscriptions are sold as in-app purchases and billed through your Apple App Store account.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Free trial: If your plan includes a free trial, it automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.
  • Managing and cancelling: You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store account settings — not by deleting the app.
  • Refunds: Purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not separately process payments or refunds, except where required by law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use Luna unlawfully; copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app; attempt to access it in unauthorised ways; disrupt or harm the service; or upload harmful or unlawful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

Luna, its name, brand, design, and content (excluding your own data) are owned by Launch Match Limited and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Luna for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not use our branding without permission.

9. Your data

The cycle, health, and other data you enter remain yours. You grant us the permissions needed to process it in order to provide Luna, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data in the app (Profile → Settings).

10. Third-party services

Luna relies on third-party services (including Apple, and the providers listed in our Privacy Policy). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.

11. Disclaimers

Luna is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate, and we disclaim implied warranties. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law (including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Launch Match Limited will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on Luna's wellness guidance or AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes

We may update Luna or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll post the updated version here and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Luna after changes means you accept them.

14. Termination

You may stop using Luna and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect Luna or its users.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales (this does not remove statutory consumer protections available to you where you live).
